The 2010 Micronesian Fair themed Celebrating the Tastes of Micronesia is hosted by the Guam Humanities Council and will occur on October 15-17, 2010 at the Ypao Amphitheater.
October 15, 2010 (A.M. Schedule)
Skits on Chuukese Legends - Presented by members of the Micronesian Student Association, John F. Kennedy High School
A group of vibrant youth will interpret and perform a selection of classic Chuukese fables with important lessons surrounding food and ritual ceremonies, including a story about the Umwu Samwol, a competitive food presentation and celebration to
honor a chief.

Greetings!
This is a "Happy Day" for the Islander Family.... I would just like to inform you all that GCIF is not pursuing an appeal to the Supreme Court of Guam.  This is good news!  The government can now proceed to secure the contract with IBC and once that is established..construction for the new JFK can begin.  I am so thankful to all of you who have participated and supported the rebuild efforts for the past year.  This is a victory for the entire Islander Family!  Let's continue to hold our island leaders accountable for the promises they made of building a new JFK.  GO ISLANDERS!

The 2010 50th anniversary JFKHS yearbook is available for pre-order at $60.00 per copy.  the pre-sell price is good until April 30, 2010.  Effective May 1, the price will increase to $75.00.  The yearbook is finished and currently being printed.  The books will be available around May 5th.
