ATTENTION STUDENTS:
All students are advised that they are to be in full uniform at all times while on campus. THE FULL UNIFORM MUST BE WORN. Students found out of uniform, in addition to other disciplinary actions, will be required to write neatly the following sentence: “I will wear my full uniform at all times while on campus because I am proud to be an Islander.” 1st offense: 250 sentences, 2nd offense: 500 sentences, 3rd offense: 1000 sentences and so on.
Applications for On-Campus Student Parking: will be available beginning Wednesday, April 15th. Because of orders from the GPSS Safety Officer, after the deadline there will be no parking outside the campus. Violators will be towed away at your expense. There will be NO FEE charged for student parking permits. Please see the Discipline Office for applications, and requirements needed.
Graduating Seniors: Please report to the Discipline Office to obtain and sign your Senior Contract enabling you to participate in the graduation ceremony this year. Violation of the contract or failure/refusal to sign the contract may result in your removal from the graduation ceremony. Deadline to sign contract is April 22, 2009.
Class of 2009 presents “European Rendezvous” senior coronation will be held at the Sheraton Laguan Resort on Saturday, May 16, 2009 from 6-10pm. Pre-sold tickets are $35.00. After April the tickets will be $40.00 so buy them soon in room B110 or with any class officer.

Hey Islanders! The Class of 2010 is sponsoring this year’s Junior Prom. It will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2009 from 6:00pm-11:00pm at the Westin Hotel. If you’re interested in running for Royal Court, please see Pauleen Mateo, Randi Villenueva, or go to room G110. Any grade level is eligible to run for Royal Court.
Seniors: Deadline for purchasing your Cap and Gown is on Thursday, April 16, 2009. Please see Andrea Carlos or Meg Burce in Room B110 for orders and payments. Packets are still $65.00.
Attention Seniors: Class meetings are held every Tuesday during lunch in Room B110. Important issues will be discussed, your attendance is highly recommended.
Seniors you can start picking up Royal Court forms from Jeanette Alcaide or Mr. Labrador in Rm. B110 during break or lunch.
“Prep Yourself” SAT Tutoring and College Counseling Workshop: 730pm in the UOG Cafeteria, Wednesday nights on the following dates: April 15th, 22nd, & 29th.

College Bound Seniors! All FAFSA applications should be finished by the end of this month. If you haven’t applied for your FAFSA Pin, do it ASAP. See your counselor for more information.

Faculty & Staff: To all who graduated from JFKHS, you are invited to an organizational meeting on Friday, April 24, 2009 during lunch in Rm.C107. In the commemoration of the demolition of the old JFKHS and start of the new buildings, we would like for you to be apart of this timeline of alma mater.
The Superintendent is seeking volunteers to be members planning committee of the Pacific Educational Conference Committee that is schedule in July and to be held on Guam. Teachers, Principals and Assistant Principals are urged to submit their names to assist. Please submit your name to Mrs. Mandell in A-100.
In accordance with the Governor’s Circular 2006-033 by utilizing designated employees for energy conservation and savings: Reports continue to come in regarding classroom lights and air conditioning running after school hours. Although minimal exterior lighting after working hours is acceptable to help deter vandalism and theft, after hours internal office/classroom lighting and running air conditioners is NOT TOLERABLE, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
