ATTENTION STUDENTS:

Beginning Tuesday, October 14, all students not in full uniform must sign in at the Office of Student Support Services with a note from their parents explaining why the student is out of uniform. Students without parent notes must still sign-in and may be subject to disciplinary action. Also, as a reminder, students cannot bring hats to school. Hats will be confiscated when seen being used or not.

 

Attention Seniors: A Tentative Graduation List is posted in the Counseling Office, B-200. Please see your Counselor today to confirm your graduation status.

 

Students: Yearbook Class is now accepting pre-orders for the 2009 yearbook. You can pre-order your yearbook for $50.00. This price is good to the end of January. Cash only please. Place your orders in Room C-107 during lunch and break with Mr. Protasio.

 

FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! The Mock Trial Team defeated last school year’s champion, The Academy of Our Lady of Guam, last Saturday, at the opening of the mock trial season. Congratulations for a job well done: Kento Yasukawa, Irene DeVera, Jaemin Yoon, Jessica Lazatin, Jostin Cruz, Shruti Nagarajin and Angelica Agahan.

 

Come out and support your Mock Trial Team as they play against last school year’s, second runner up, Simon Sanchez High School. Be there 9:00am at the Superior Court of Guam this Saturday, January 17th, 2009.

 

Girls Basketball Team is having a carwash on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Ace Hardware, Sinajana

From 8:00-4:00pm. Please support by buying a ticket for $5.00 from Mr. Pilarca or Ms. Basilio in Room B-210.

 

The next Intramural Event: 5 on 5 Basketball. Interested students must fill out a roster with a maximum of 10 players. For more information see Mr. Manansala in the GYM or Room G-104 during lunch.

 

Attention Freshmen: From BMS, SAT-10 scores are in, come pick up your copy in the Counseling Office at B-200 during lunch or break time. Last day for pickup will be January 16th, 2009.

 

FRESHMEN & SOPHOMORES: Are you interested in taking Automotive, Carpentry, Electronics, Nursing, Marketing, or Tourism next school year? Please see Ms. Nanpei, GCC Counselor in the Library or B-200 to sign up.

 

Attention STUDENTS / TEACHERS: There is no selling of food or drink items by any teacher, athletic group, student organization, or outside entity permitted on campus without prior approval of the Office of Student Support Services. Applications for permission may be made with WAY, in the case of chartered student organizations, or the Office of Student Support Services.

 

 

ATTENTION TEACHERS:

Reminder: Please make sure you read the bulletin to your students in a timely manner.

 

If you have any students Free/Reduce Meal Applications that were submitted, please turn them in to the Business Office immediately.

 

PLEASE REMEMBER DO NOT RELEASE STUDENTS EARLY BEFORE THE BELL RINGS. Continued early release of students may result in disciplinary action.

 

Faculty Meeting is on Wednesday, January 14th, 2009 at 11:50pm in the GW cafeteria. Please be prompt.

 

2nd Quarter / 1st Semester: INTEGRADE DISKETTES will be issued by Thursday, January 8th, 2009 and will not be accepted back until Monday, January 12th, 2009. No later than Thursday, January 15th, 2009 by the end of the duty day! NO IFS, ANDS OR BUTS!

 

CLUB ADVISORS: Any deposits for Administrative and NAF funds can only be done during lunch time (215pm-300pm) at the Business Office. After 300pm we will not be accepting any deposits. NO DEPOSITS shall interfere with instruction time.

 

ESL R/W Retesting: Retesting of eligible ESL students will be conducted on the following days:

Tuesday, January 20th, 2009; Thursday, January 22nd, 2009 and Friday, January 30th, 2009.

Tests will be held at the library during 4th period. Test will commence @ 3:15pm. Teacher’s who have these students for 2nd period will be responsible to have their students report to the library as soon as the lunch bell rings. Please plan accordingly.

 

Eskelan Puengi applications are still being accepted till Friday, January 16th, 2009 at Personnel Office.

 

Teachers who have CHOICES SOFTWARE in their computers, The Site ID# and School Password for 2009 are in. See Mrs. Mandell @ A-100 or Delores Quinata in the Counseling Office for more information.

In accordance with the Governor’s Circular 2006-033 by utilizing designated employees for energy conservation and savings: Reports continue to come in regarding classroom lights and air conditioning running after school hours. Although minimal exterior lighting after working hours is acceptable to help deter vandalism and theft, after hours internal office/classroom lighting and running air conditioners is NOT TOLERABLE, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
